Grey Yellow Marble Handmade Paper

Handmade Marble paper.  In Japanese this is called Suminagashi  墨流し which translates to floating ink.  This process of floating pigments on water, then gently placing a card or paper to transfer the design onto the paper, started in Japan in the 12th Century.

Each sheet of paper is unique, with no two being the same, there is only one sheet in stock of each design.  The paper is handmade with Kozo (Mulberry Bush) Fibres using traditional Japanese techniques.
