All timber is domestically grown and does not come from endangered or ancient forests. They also recycled as much of the pre-consumer waste as possible, through re-using wood chip and shaving waste in the washi paper making process. Water pollution is also dealt with and the Takano family treat and purify all wastewater before it is returned to the natural environment. This gives you piece of mind the stationery paper you are buying is minimising its impact on the environment as much as possible.
